Detailed Itinerary:

DAY 1: ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE

• Pick-Up: 07:30 am from your hotel in Arusha.
• Drive: 3-hour drive to Tarangire National Park (about 115 km from Arusha).
• Game Drive: Full-day safari inside the park, with picnic lunch on-site. Key attractions include:
  • Large herds of elephants.
  • The fascinating baobab trees and climbing pythons.
  • Other animals like lions, leopards, and a variety of antelopes.
• Accommodation: After the game drive, you will head to Fanaka Lodge or a similar accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 2: NGORONGORO CRATER FULL DAY

• Wake-Up: Around 6:30 am for breakfast.
• Drive: Depart to Ngorongoro Crater, home to an incredible variety of wildlife.
  • See animals like lions, black rhinos, elephants, jackals, hippos, wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles.
  • You’ll also see various species of birds, including flamingos and other high concentrations of wildlife.
• Lunch: Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater with beautiful views and abundant wildlife.
• Ngorongoro Crater: This massive volcanic caldera is the largest intact and inactive caldera in the world, formed about 2 to 3 million years ago.
• Accommodation: After a day of exploration, you’ll head to Mto wa Mbu for dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 3: LAKE MANYARA THEN ARUSHA

• Breakfast: Start your day with a delicious breakfast.
• Drive: Depart to Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive.
  • Look out for the famous tree-climbing lions, large flocks of flamingos, pelicans, and storks around the lake.
  • Visit the hot spring located within the park.
• Maasai Boma Visit: After the game drive, visit a Maasai Boma (traditional Maasai village) outside the park. Learn about the Maasai culture, traditions, and daily life.
• Return: Drive back to Arusha for dinner and overnight.
